The Brunei Darussalam national football team played against Timor-Leste for a slot in the group stage of the Hyundai ASEAN Cup 2026.

Held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, the first round of qualifying match saw Brunei Darussalam lost 3-nil to Timer-Leste. The second match is taking place on the 9th of June at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium, Malaysia.​
